I had the chance to travel for my first out of town dog show this weekend, tagging along with some wonderful women and their beautiful boxers to Dog Daze 2022 down in Guthrie, Oklahoma. I was mostly shooting the boxers, but had a couple of changes to point my camera around.
I had the absolute best time and it’s been fun finding my way around the D500, but that dirt arena floor was so stunningly ugly, even for me. The only other downside is that I think I only saw one Boston all weekend.
Tempo is one of the boxers I used to work with at my old dog job, and it’s always so neat seeing “clients” in the ring. These were some of the boxers I was traveling with–they’ll be a whole separate post for them, because I got some of the cutest shots during their “down time”.
