I ended up with six stitches in my hand right as these fields bloomed but I didn’t let that stop me from forcing myself out to get Alfie’s first sunflower portrait.
We’ve already been back to shoot more, since I’m a little hobbled by the state of my hand, and maybe if we’re lucky I’ll get those edited by the time we visit in 2023.
