Our favorite sunflower patch has just barely started to bloom, so Alf and I headed out at the crack of dawn and got to have the whole field to ourselves for a couple of hours.
Nevermind that we still have dozens of sunflower photos we’ve never shared from last year*, let alone edited–I’m already having a better time this year without six stitches in my hand. Plus I’ve gotten a few great lenses since then and even Alf is a little better at holding his poses.
I love having these little traditions with him–we’re creatures of such habit, we even visited on the First Monday of August, the same as we did in 2021. Next up in our seasonal shooting repertoire is fall photos!
* Posting these made me really nostalgic for our first trip out to this farm, so I actually managed to get a handful of those photos edited and posted.
