Happy New Year from Alfie and Fancy! I’m starting to get accustomed to the way years just fly by now, and I’m almost halfway at peace with the fact the world has changed completely in two years. I try not to brag, but the pandemic has actually been pretty good to me. It helped me make some exciting changes. Helped me overcome a lot of fears. And most importantly, I realized a lot of new goals. And those stimulus checks were pretty helpful when I was buying into the Z system!
But I’m getting pretty burnt out on masks and sickness and turmoil. I don’t have a lot of hope for the world at large, but 2022 is shaping up to be pretty exciting for us.
One of my goals this year is to do a themed monthly shoot in the studio along with Alf. Not necessarily with him, but in the same set. Doing a bit more styling when we’re out on our adventures is high on my list of things to do, as well. I’ve just about worn the shine off of chasing him around and posing him on logs, so I’m ready to try something different.
I am working hard on getting some of my landscape work shown locally and buckling down on refining my editing techniques. No real goals set in that arena, just things I would like to find time for between finishing school and working on my seemingly endless Alfie backlog.
